The silicone mat works exactly as intended. Unfortunately, the markers permanently stained my 3 year olds terry cloth romper within minutes. Dawn, laundry detergent, oxygen bleach, stain remover, and rubbing alcohol had no effect. The ink also stained skin. I would not recommend this for young children unless you are comfortable treating the markers like permanent markers around clothing and furniture. These products are designed for children, and should be able to tolerate that.

We absolutely love our Hey Doodle colouring mat! My daughter is 2.5 and this is one of the only activities she has that keeps her busy for a while! It’s also a nice calming activity to do before bed.
Cutest mat for a girl! 🌈 Loved this mat so much I ended up buying this one again for a present! Great for fine motor skills and educational with numbers to count from 1-10. The creative design has lots of cute pictures, my 2yo and 4yo girls love making it colourful. They also like to flip the mat over and play naughts and crosses on the back!
Best thing since sliced bread I purchased our Hey Doodle after a recommendation from a friend. We have a holiday coming up and thought it would be perfect for the plane ride. It turns out it's perfect for anytime! My daughter busts it out every day and I love the markers and easy wipe clean. I actually find it fun to do with her also, which is a bonus. I'm thinking about buying a different design for options. 5/5 definitely recommend
My niece loves it I gave this to my niece for her 4th birthday. She pick it up time and time again over the next few days and really enjoyed tracing the numbers. Turns out it's good to have two on hand in case a friend comes over. I reckon they need to be washed within a day of colouring to be properly clean but that's pretty normal for reusable colouring stuff, I think.

We got it as a gift from our lovely friends, and as a result, my toddler no longer asks for screen time. Instead, she loves to spend time drawing! I even purchased more for my niece and nephew. The best gift for our little human.
Great product. My granddaughter loved it and do did I. Easy to reuse just wipe down with a damp cloth and voila a new mat. I love the pouches as it’s so portable. Each pouch is fully contained with pens and mat. Pick up and go. Will be sending the Aussie ones to my grandchildren in France. I bought extra pens as well because my granddaughter forgets to put the lids on. So I have spares now. She also uses the back of the mat for free drawing. A great present for families with children’s.

Little one loves it. Our friends had a hey doodle mat at a lunch catch up, and my little miss 3 was enamored by it. Instantly asked for them and am so glad I purchased. The independent play that has occurred plus tracing her numbers has been amazing. Will absolutely continue purchasing.
It’s more than just a colouring mat. It’s great I don’t have to offer screen time nor bring along colouring pencils and colouring books to entertain my little one whilst out and about (especially at a restaraunt). But it’s so much more than just that. Hey Doodle has allowed my little one to be more gentle and forgiving with herself when it comes to making mistakes (or what I like to call a learning curve), particularly with the letter tracing or when learning to colour inside the lines, as she knows she can always try again with a simple wipe! And yes, before we say, “standard pencils and erasers do exactly that for the letter tracing”. I’m all for colour recognition and visual aid. And it seems like Hey Doodle is too ;)
