HeyDoodle America is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that all visitors deserve a positive, inclusive experience when shopping with us.

Our commitment

We are actively working to make heydoodle.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, and the benchmark referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we are doing

We are taking the following steps to improve accessibility across our website:

  • Adding captions and transcripts to video content
  • Ensuring all interactive elements (menus, buttons, forms) are clearly labelled for screen readers
  • Reviewing colour contrast across the site to meet WCAG AA standards
  • Improving the structure and hierarchy of headings for easier navigation

We are conducting ongoing accessibility reviews and will continue to make improvements over time.

Accessibility tools

We use Isonomy Web Accessibility to help identify and remediate accessibility issues across our Shopify store. Isonomy works at the code level to proactively fix accessibility barriers rather than masking them, and provides features including:

  • Screen reader support
  • Keyboard navigation enhancements
  • Text resizing and contrast adjustment tools
  • AI-powered image alt text optimisation

This is one part of our broader commitment to accessibility — we also conduct manual reviews and make direct improvements to our site content and structure.

Known limitations

While we are committed to meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA, some areas of our site are still being updated. We are aware of the following and are actively working to address them:

  • Some images may currently be missing or have incomplete alternative text
  • Video content may not yet have closed captions or transcripts
  • Some interactive elements may not yet have full ARIA label support

We aim to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
